February 22, 1947 - December 24, 2025 Philip (Bruce) Hobson, 78, of Hertford, NC, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 24, 2025 at home.  Born in Trenton, New Jersey, he graduated from Steinert High School,  Class of 1964.  He served six years in the US Army National Guard.   After graduating from college, he began work at FMC, Princeton New Jersey, as a process and research chemist.  He was awarded two US patents and multiple foreign versions for chemical processing
