Linda J. Neely

Linda J. Neely, 83, of Bordentown, passed away peacefully Wednesday, August 12, 2026 at Serenity Hospice Inpatient Unit at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Hamilton.
Born in Trenton, NJ, she was a longtime Bordentown resident. Linda was the owner and hairstylist of The Nu You Salon in Bordentown for more than 42 years.
Predeceased by her parents, Richard and Mickie (Williams) Hall; stepfather, Richard Bossman; sister, Carol Hall; and her husband, Gerald Neely; she is survived by her daughter, Dawn Neely; her son, Shawn Neely and his partner, Nancy; as well as many other relatives and dear friends, including Anna Notte and Mike Carney.
Cremation services were held privately under the direction of the Buklad-Merlino Memorial Homes, Hamilton.
Memorial contributions in Linda’s name may be made to any New Jersey Breast Cancer Charity of the donor’s choice.

I have been friends with Linda for 57 years. I will treasure the wonderful memories made during those years while raising our children, vacationing, and working together. We had many laughs and stories to share. I am grateful that our paths have crossed.

Linda was a very special friend to me for more than 20 years, and I feel incredibly fortunate to have had her in my life.
Over all those years, we shared countless conversations, plenty of laughter, and the ordinary moments that, looking back, become some of the most meaningful. Linda had a wonderful spirit, a great sense of humor, and a way about her that was uniquely her own.
I will always be grateful for her friendship and for the time we shared. I will miss her very much, but I will remember her with great affection and a smile.
