Virginia E Driver

June 17, 1935 - February 4, 2019

Virginia E. Driver, 83, of Hamilton passed away on Monday, February 4, 2019 at RWJ University Hospital @ Hamilton.

Born in Trenton, she was a lifelong Trenton/Hamilton area resident.

Ginny as she was affectionately known by family and friends was a longtime faithful member of St. Gregory the Great Church in Hamilton Square. She had a deep devotion to her faith and church. Ginny worked for many years as a bookkeeper for her family construction company, and later worked as an administrator at the Mercer County Airport. Most of all, Ginny was most proud of her campaign work for her late husband Albert Driver, Jr. who was the former Mayor of Hamilton Township. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, always very loyal to all she loved. She will be greatly missed.

Daughter of the late Pasquole and Rosa Degli Umberto, wife of the late Albert Driver, Jr., mother of the late Nancy Lynn Driver-Edenfield, and Virgina Brooks, sister of the late Eda Corallo, Anna Fabian, Helen Capuano, and Carmela Marrazza, she is survived by her son-in-law Shaun Edenfield; her sister Sue Lombardi; grandson John Brooks; her great granddaughter; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Calling hours will be held on Friday morning, February 8, 2019, in the chapel at St. Gregory the Great Church in Hamilton Square from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:30 a.m. at the church. Entombment will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery.

Arrangements are under the direction of Chris Merlino and his staff of the Buklad Memorial Home, 2141 South Broad Street in Hamilton.
