Thomas R. Tumillo, 71, of Seminole, Florida passed away on December 7, 2018 at Morton Plant Hospital in Clearwater, Florida.
Born in Trenton, he was a lifelong area resident until 2007 when he and his wife Lorna Jeanne moved to Florida. Tom retired from the Trenton Police Department in 1994 with 25 years of service. He was a lifetime member of the NRA and VFW Post # 4256 Florida, and also the Elks in Florida as well as American Legion # 104 in Florida. Tom was a NJ National Guard member for 9 years. In his spare time he was an avid cook who enjoyed preparing meals for family and friends.
Son of the late Thomas and Edna Olmstead, father of the late James Tumillo, he is survived by his loving wife Lorna Jeanne Tumillo of 28 years; his son and daughter-in-law, Thomas and Sherry Tumillo; siblings and their spouses, Lynn and James Sierputowski, David and Sue Tumillo; grandchildren, Matthew and Gianna Tumillo; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family members.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, December 20, 2018 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Buklad Memorial Home, 2141 South Broad Street in Hamilton. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
