Robert J. Mahon, Sr., 85, of Hamilton passed away on Friday, January 18, 2019 at home surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Trenton, he was a lifelong Trenton/Hamilton area resident. Robert was a long time parishioner of St. Raphael’s Parish. Robert worked and retired from Wenzel Tile with over 43 years of service. He was greatly loved by his family and will be deeply missed.
Son of the late Elmer and Henrietta Duval Mahon,loving husband of the late Barbara Argust Mahon who passed away June 25, 2018, father of the late Elmer L. Mahon, grandfather of the late Danielle Mahon, and predeceased by his six siblings, Elmer, Charles, William, James, Jack Mahon, and Dolores Haggerty he is survived by his ten children, nine sons and daughters-in-law, William and Margie Ann Mahon, Gregory and Monica Mahon, Brian and Suzie Mahon, Timothy and Andrea Mahon, Robert, Jr. and Donna Mahon, Daniel Mahon and Edith Ellison, Matthew Mahon and Bridget Cain, Gary and Jennifer Mahon, Jospeh Mahon and Kimberly Hegarty, one daughter, Barbara Mahon Harper; his brother Donald Mahon and his wife Sandy Mahon; inlaws, Martha Mahon, Joan Mahon, Kitty Mahon, Thomas Argust, Jr., Jermaine Thomson, and Eleanor Haas; 28 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild, as well as many other family members and friends.
The funeral will be held on Saturday, January 26, 2019, 8:30 a.m. from the Buklad Yardville Memorial Chapel, 30 Yardville-Allentown Road in Yardville. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 9:30 a.m. at St. Raphael’s Church. Burial will follow in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery.
Relatives and friends may attend a viewing on Friday evening from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the memorial chapel.
