Mary J. (Frollo) Zola, 92, of Hamilton Square, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 12, 2021, at the Atrium Post-Acute Care Center, Hamilton.
Born in Trenton, NJ, she was a lifelong area resident. Mary was a member of St. Anthony’s Church, their Altar Rosary Society, baked for and worked at their Bingo games for more than 40 years. Mary was a hard worker with an impeccable work ethic. Over the years she held many positions. She worked at Lenox, Thermoid and Lawrence Hose to name a few. She went on to work in the cafeteria at many of the Hamilton Twp. Schools, as well as many other jobs, but her most important job was being a homemaker and caregiver for her family. She was a beautiful woman who was feisty, resilient, loved to sing, and had a great sense of humor. Mary was selfless and loving and would give you the shirt off of her back to help others. Her sweet soul always lit up the room and made a lasting impression on those around her.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend and will be missed by all who knew her.
Predeceased by her parents, James and Josephine (Delana) Frollo, her husband Leonard A. Zola, her siblings, Paul Tripodi, Mildred Gura, and Frances Naro; she is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Mary Ann and Bob Howland, and Joanne Zola Harrison and Dave Miller; her brother, Mike Frollo; sisters-in-law, Pauline Tripodi and Delores Zola; 4 grandchildren, Rob Howland, Marcy and her husband Doug Brown, Marissa Harrison and Maddie Harrison; 2 great grandchildren, Joey and Mackenzie Brown; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and dear friends.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 16, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at the
Buklad-Merlino Yardville Memorial Home, with Father Dan McGowan officiating.
Burial will follow in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery.
Visitation for family and friends will be held from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at the Yardville Home.
