Mary I. Papp, born October 24, 1921.
Passed away peacefully in her sleep on November 25, 2018 at RWJ hospital of Hamilton. She was 97 years old. She graduated from Trenton High School and the La Tour Academy of Beauty and was a lifelong resident of the Trenton area, where she served along with her father, as an assistant air raid warden during World War II. She was a people person who loved her card clubs, bingo, and all manner of games. She is predeceased by her mother and father Frank and Jennie Meszaros of Trenton; Alex, her husband of 45 years; and sister Elsie Beke of Hamilton. She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law Alan and Sharol Papp of Phoenix, Az and Frank and Holly Papp of Columbus, NJ; granddaughters Kristi and Heather Papp of Phoenix and Tammi and wife Beth Ann Stuebe of Pennington; grandson Jason of Columbus; sister Jennie Gabor of Garden City, SC; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at the Brigadier General William C. Doyle cemetery in North Hanover, NJ at 10:45 AM on Wednesday, December 5th.
