Bruce Bitler, age 72, of Pennington, passed away
Friday April 9, 2021.
Born in Trenton NJ, he graduated from Ewing High
School in 1966 and was a graduate of Trenton State College (The College of New Jersey) Bruce was the owner/operator of Mattress Fair of Pennington and then worked for many years for Sleepy's the mattress Professionals. Upon his retirement, he went on to work as a security guard for Allied Universal. Most of all Bruce always looked forward to his yearly Aruba trips.
Bruce loved sports, especially baseball and was a lifelong Phillies fan. He also performed scouting duties for the St. Louis Cardinals
Predeceased by his parents, Elmer and Anne (Kurtz) Bitler, and his brother Dwight Bitler; He is survived by his sister June Medley (Sid) and his brother David (Anne) Bitler; niece Donna (Jon) Buckley; nephew Gerald Petrillo; niece Krista Bitler; and great nieces Brenna Buckley, Kourtney and Cassidy Moon as well as great nephew Wyatt Moon.
Services are private and under the direction of Buklad-Merlino Memorial Homes, Hamilton
