Ashley E. Johnson

November 19, 1985 – January 8, 2022


Ashley E. Johnson, 36, of Bordentown, passed away peacefully and unexpectedly on Saturday, January 8, 2022 at home.


Born in Trenton, she was a lifelong area resident. Ashley loved spending time with her family and enjoyed trips to the beach. She also to loved take pictures of everything and anything, including her kids, nieces and nephews, and food. Ashley was an incredible cook, she made delicious Shepherds pie, Vodka Rigatoni, and she had a tradition of Taco Tuesdays with her kids. She was a devoted mother, whose greatest joy in life were her kids. They would spend time watching Cobra Kai, In the Dark and many other shows. She was loving mother, granddaughter, sister, niece, aunt, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.


Daughter of the late John H. Johnson III and Mary Holt Johnson; she is survived by her son Elijah Julius; and 2 daughters, Olivia Noel and Jahsina Bayley; brothers and sisters-in-law, John H. Johnson IV and wife Melissa, and Albert N. Johnson and wife Estelle; grandmother Catherine Johnson; aunts and uncles, William and Claire Holt, Noman H. Holt II, Harry Holt and Debbie Solek, Anne Holt Pasqua, Nancy and Steve Iacono, Tracy and Russell Barbiero, Julie and Dominick Mangine, Heidi Holt and Hany Serag, and Kathleen Johnson; one niece Anaiya; 7 nephews, Thomas, Jayden, Albert, Jr., Angelo, John V, Jaxx, Alanzo; and the father of her children, Bashaun Miller; as well as many cousins, other family members, and dear friends.


Visitation for family and friends will be held on Saturday, January 15, 2022 from 9:00-11:00 a.m. at the Buklad-Merlino Yardville Memorial Chapel, 30 Yardville-Allentown Road in Yardville.


Catholic prayer services will be held 11:00 a.m. at the Yardville Memorial Home.


Burial will follow in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery.
