Vincent R. Morris, Sr., 96, of Yardville, passed away on Sept. 21, 2019.
Born in Eotone, Illinois, he resided most of his life in the Trenton/Yardville area.
Vince was an Army Veteran of the Korean War. He was also a longtime parishioner of St. Vincent DePaul Church in Yardville. He worked at DeLaval, Cadillac Motor Company, and Trenton Trust. In his spare time he loved traveling, his model trains, and woodworking.
Son of the late John and Mabel Sommer Morris, husband of the late Elizabeth Ziaja Morris, he is survived by his two children, Vincent Morris, Jr. and his wife Jeanine, Eva Marie Mays and her husband Gary all of Arlington, Texas; grandchildren, Vincent III and Cassandra Morris; four great grandchildren; many siblings, Margaret Szucsik and her husband Steve; goddaughter Gail Dellaira and her husband Bruce, their children Natalia, Matthew, and Michael; and his care giver Jozef Kruczkowski.
Funeral services and entombment were private under the direction of the Buklad Yardville Memorial Chapel, 30 Yardville-Allentown Road in Yardville.
