Vilma Tapia, 81, of Pemberton passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 30, 2022 at home surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Manati, Puerto Rico, she came to the Trenton area in 1957, and resided there until most recently when she moved to Pemberton.
She was employed with both King Farm and Circle F for many years before becoming a fulltime housewife and mother. She loved being able to stay home to care for her husband and 4 children, spending time with them was her greatest joy in life. Vilma was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend who will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Predeceased by her parents, Herminio and Amparo (Robles) Valle, and her grandson, John Anthony Montalvo; she is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Jorge, Tapia, Sr.; her four adoring children, Jorge Tapia, Jr. and wife Marcela, Belen Alarcon and husband Marcos, Jose L Tapia and Orlando Tapia; 12 grandchildren, Lena Tapia, Jorge Tapia, III, Nikolas Tapia, Jenny Betancourt, Emily Betancourt, Lily Betancourt, Karla Santiago, Liana R. Tapia, Joseph Sweat and Brittany Sweat, Evelyn Alarcon and Amerary Alarcon; as well as many great grandchildren other family members and dear friends.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 7, 2022 at 12:00 p.m. at the Buklad-Merlino Yardville Memorial Home. 30 Yardville-Allentown Road, Yardville.
Visitation for family and friends will be held Wednesday, morning from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at the Buklad-Merlino Yardville Memorial Home.
Burial will follow in Colonial Memorial Park, Hamilton.
