Veronica M. “Ronnie” Bramble, born December 9, 1929. She left peacefully in the arms of her son Richard at home on Monday, August 23, 2021.
Born in Trenton, NJ she was a lifelong area resident. She traveled with her husband who served in the Navy. She spent time in Hawaii and California, eventually returning to NJ, and most recently residing in Levittown. In her younger years she loved dancing, especially Jitterbugging and she loved going to Bingo. Most of all she loved her family and time spent together.
Veronica started her academics at St. Mary’s of the Assumption and finished them at Trenton High School where she graduated in 1947. She was employed by the City of Trenton, Division of Welfare, as a Welfare Investigator for approximately 10 years. She then went on to work for the State of NJ, Dept. of Treasury, Division of Taxation, retiring in 1990. Veronica lived the rest of her time with her son Richard in the Levittown, PA area.
Predeceased by her parents, John and Elizabeth (Fejko) Kohan, her husband, Jacob C. Bramble, sons, Jake and Peter Bramble, brothers, John Kohan and Michael Kohan, and sisters, Elizabeth Anna Kohan and Betty Zimmer. She is survived by her son Richard C. Bramble; grandchildren, Jenifer Bramble and Christopher Bramble; great grandchildren, Xavier, Angelina, Markees, Jr., Madison, Gianna and Dominick; nieces and nephews, Sharon, Cheryl, Richard, Elizabeth, Suzie, Debbie and Michelle; as well as many other dear family members.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 2, 2021 from 9:00am-11:00am at the Buklad-Merlino Memorial Home, 2141 South Broad Street, Hamilton.
The funeral service will begin at 11:00am.
Burial will follow in St. Mary the Assumption II.
The family wants to thank Crossroads Hospice for the special care given to Veronica.
