Thomas J. Koponosh, Sr., 87, of Hamilton, passed away peacefully, Tuesday, February 10, 2026 at Vitas Hospice inpatient Unit at Nazareth Hospital, Philadelphia, PA surrounded by his loving family.


Born in Hamilton, NJ,  he was a lifelong area resident. Tom worked in the plumbing, roofing and siding industry, retiring after many years of hard work.


In his spare time, Tom found joy in life’s simple pleasures. He enjoyed fishing whenever he had the chance and loved spending time playing BINGO. In his younger years, he also enjoyed going bowling, creating many fun memories along the way. Above all else, Tom treasured time spent with his family. They were the center of his world, and nothing brought him greater happiness than being surrounded by those he loved most.


Predeceased by his parents, Thomas J. and Anna Koponosh; and his three brothers, Nicholas, Cyrus, and Louis Koponosh; he is survived by his beloved wife of 63 years, Lucille (Coniglio) Koponosh; daughter, Linda Koponosh; son, Thomas J. Koponosh, Jr. and his wife, Dorrean; 5 grandchildren, Kate, Nicholas, Gregory, Nicole and Jacob; a great grandson, Christian; as well as many other family members and dear friends.


Visitation for family and friends will be held Saturday, February 14, 2026 from 12:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. at the Buklad-Merlino Memorial Home, 2141 South Broad Street, Hamilton, NJ 08610.


Cremation will take place privately.
