Thomas E. Trzaska, 76, of Hamilton Square, passed away Sunday February 22, 2026 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, Hamilton with his loving wife at his side.
Born in South River, New Jersey, he made his home in Hamilton Square, New Jersey for the past 35 years, where he built a life filled with family, friendship, and cherished traditions. He was a devoted fan of the New York Giants and the New York Mets, rarely missing a game and always ready to cheer on his teams. He also enjoyed testing his knowledge while watching Jeopardy, a favorite daily ritual.
A true horse racing enthusiast, Tom found great excitement and joy in the sport, especially while watching the races at Saratoga Race Course and Monmouth Park Racetrack. Whether trackside or watching from afar, he followed the races with passion and enthusiasm. He also treasured the time spent in Florida at their vacation home, where he enjoyed the sunshine and, of course, visiting racetracks there as well. Alongside his beloved wife, Jo-Ann, he proudly owned and operated County Car Spa in Wrightstown, New Jersey for more than 10 years. Together they built not only a successful business, but a life grounded in hard work, dedication, and partnership.
Predeceased by his parents, Edward T. and Anna (Albanese) Trzaska; his loving mother-in-law, Eleanor Lazarz; brother-in-law, Marty Lazarz; and his much loved dog, Sanibel; he is survived by his beloved wife of 32 years, Jo-Ann Lazarz-Trzaska; sisters-in-law, Mary Ann (Dennis) McCabe, Carol Ann (Bruce) Hollows, and Cheryl Lazarz; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends.
