October 24, 1959 - January 29, 2025

Suzanne Catanese, 65, of Browns Mill, NJ passed away peacefully and unexpectedly on Wednesday, January 29, 2025 in the
comfort of her home.
Born and raised in the Trenton/Hamilton area, she resided in the Browns Mills area for the past 36 years. She was employed with the State of New Jersey, Dept. of Transportation, and Dept. of Labor, for the last 25 years. Suzanne enjoyed participating in Model Train club events, traveling, and watching many different types of You Tube activities. Most of all she was passionate about her family, and was always there to help take care of them.
Predeceased by her parents, Peter J. and Mabel M. (Smith) Catanese; she is survived by her loving husband of 36 years, Philip Hatrak; siblings, Kathleen Catanese and partner, Jerry Gavin, Paul Catanese and wife, Mary Carol “MC”; and Tricia Adler and husband Douglas; her best friend, Dianna Sheldon; 3 nieces, Elizabeth Catanese, Mary Anne (Brian) Wassel,
and Tricia Megan Bitetto; as well as many cousins, other relatives and dear friends.
Visitation for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, February 4, 2025 from
10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at the Buklad-Merlino Memorial Home, 2141 South Broad Street, Hamilton, NJ.
A prayer service will begin at 12:00 p.m., with local clergy officiating.
Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer’s Association,

So nice to see all that attended Al's memorial service Saturday, a testament of how they loved and will miss Al.
We will always remember and cherish all of the fun times we shared together, the laughs always present.
I will always miss my fishing buddy.
