Sherron A. Hill

January 21, 1969 - February 2, 2022

Sherron Alixis Hill, 53 of Robbinsville, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 2, 2022, at Princeton Medical Center at Plainsboro. Born in Guyana, South America, she moved to the United States in 1980, first to Brooklyn, NY and then to NJ in 1988. She was a resident of Woodbridge for several years until moving to the Trenton/Robbinsville area for the past 18 years. Sherron worked in the Accounting Industry and was employed with Brown and Bigelow for a period of time, most recently working with the United Fire Group. Due to illness, Sherron lost her vision in 2020. With the help from the New Jersey Commission of the Blind she was able to learn Braille. She was a strong determined woman, who up until her time of passing was working towards returning to work. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, daughter, grandmother and friend who will be deeply missed by anyone who was blessed to have known and loved her. She is survived by her parents, Melvin and Eileen (McLeod) Hunte; her devoted husband of 27 years, Walter Hill; sons Kristian Hill and Isaiah Hill; stepson, Walter Hill III and his wife Sylvia; paternal grandmother Pearl Hunte; grandchildren, Angeline, Walter IV, Malachi, and Leonardo; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, in-laws, other relatives and close friends. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday, February 10, 2022, at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Angels-St. Raphael Parish, 3500 South Broad Street, Hamilton, 08610.

https://www.straphael-holyangels.com Viewing for family and friends will be held Wednesday, February 9, 2022, from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at the Buklad-Merlino Yardville Memorial Home, 30 Yardville-Allentown Road, Yardville, 08620. There will be no viewing Thursday morning at the Funeral Home prior to mass. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. At the request of the family, all guests are kindly encouraged to wear masks or facial coverings. Memorial contributions may be made in Sherron’s name to the Dept. of Human Services, NJ Commission for the Blind and Visually Impaired, at NJCBVI, 153 Halsey St., 6th Floor, P.O. Box 47017, Newark, NJ 07101, attention Edward Szajdecki, Chief, Fiscal Services.


The family invites all of their friends and family to please join them after the burial for a period of food and fellowship at a repast for Sherron.
