Ryan Clarke Lawhorne, 50, of Medford, New Jersey, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, August 29, 2026.
Born in Bangor, Maine, Ryan was raised in Toms River, New Jersey. Ryan excelled in baseball playing with the Toms River Little League, Ryan helped pitch his Senior Toms River Little League Team to a Shore Conference win. He graduated from Toms River High School North, where he played and loved the game of soccer. Ryan attended Unity College in Maine then discovered the world of retail...Throughout his career, Ryan worked in the retail industry at various locations throughout the Northeast. For the past several years Ryan has been employed by Staples. He was most recently employed as the manager of the Staples in Hamilton Township.
An outdoorsman at heart, Ryan enjoyed spending his free time fishing and hunting and just enjoying nature, He was a passionate animal lover who had a special place in his heart for his dogs. Most of all, Ryan loved his family and treasured the time he spent with those closest to him. He was most at peace at the family lake cabin in Maine.
Ryan was predeceased by his father, Richard Clark Lawhorne, and his aunt, Sharon McMullen Hayes.
He is survived by his mother, Eileen McMullen Lawhorne of Lincoln, Maine his sister, Shara Dawn Lawhorne from Missoula, Montana; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, and dear friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial service on Saturday, September 19, 2026 from 10:00AM 12:00PM, with local clergy officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Ryan’s memory to the Hamilton Township Animal Shelter, 2100 Sylvan Avenue, Hamilton, NJ 08610.
