Roseann (Montani) Battiste, 86, of Hamilton, NJ, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 20, 2024, at her home.
Born and raised in Trenton, NJ, Rose Ann was a lifelong resident of the area. She was a devoted homemaker who took great pride in keeping a spotless home. Rose Ann had a zest for life, with a strong love for dining out and enjoying the occasional cocktail. She was a true people person who cherished her family and friends, always putting them first. Her heart of gold led her to help others in need, and she formed lasting bonds with those around her.
Rose Ann loved to spend time with her family, enjoying trips to the casino and beach. Her unwavering love and care for her family was at the core of who she was.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 54 years, Joseph J. "Bucky" Battiste, as well as her special friends, Josephine and Tony Testa. Rose Ann is survived by her cherished daughter Kim Stoutenburgh, and her wonderful and caring son-in-law John Stoutenburgh, who was more like a son to her; two nieces, Elvira Hoffman and Amelia Gallagher; a special friend, Bernadette Maher; her grandcat, Bandit; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces, great-great-nephews, and special friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, December 27, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, 3816 East State Street Extension, Hamilton, NJ 08619.
Visitation will take place from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the mass at the church.
Burial will follow at Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery, 400 Woolsey St., Hamilton, NJ.
Services are under the direction of the Buklad-Merlino Memorial Homes.

Rose Ann will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
