Roland (Ron) Joseph Krueger, Jr. died peacefully Wednesday, July 9, 2025. He was 83 years old.
Born and raised in Hamilton Twp., NJ he resided there for 80 years, moving to Jackson, NJ for two years, and most recently lived in Texas.
He was a Surveyor and Professional Planner and served as Mercer County Assistant Engineer for 30 years. He was a Charter Member, Founding Member or Board Member of many groups and societies, and was named one of America’s Outstanding Young Men. He was a Charter Member and Past Exalted Ruler of the Hamilton Elks, Lodge No. 2262.
He enjoyed having a good time and was well known for never being able to get to the punch line of a joke because he was already laughing!!
He will be missed. May he Rest in Peace.
Predeceased by his wife of 60 years, Judith Ann (Cooper) Krueger; Ron is survived by three children, daughter and son-in-law, Jacqueline Krueger and Nicholas J. Christophis of Frisco TX; daughter and son-in-law, Sharon Lynn and Thomas R. Carazzai of Lawrenceville NJ; and son, RJ Krueger III with fiancée, Lisa Schooley of Hamilton NJ.
He leaves four grandchildren, grandson, John Anthony Lengyel, Jr. (Jake) of Tokyo Japan; granddaughter and grandson-in-law, Lauren and Donald Bourlier of St. Augustine FL; granddaughter, Sara Krueger of King of Prussia, PA; and granddaughter, Kelly Ann Krueger of Houston TX; three great-grandchildren, Donnie, Dylan and Andrew Bourlier; his brother, George J. Krueger and sister-in-law, Natalie B. Krueger; along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Memorial Gathering for family and friends will be held on Friday, August 1, 2025 from 4:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. at the Buklad-Merlino Yardville Memorial Home, 30 Yardville-Allentown Road, Yardville.
An ELKs service will begin at 6:30 p.m. followed by a prayer service.
