Robert Yajcaji, 87, of Hamilton, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 16, 2024 surrounded by love while at his daughter’s home in Martins Creek, PA.
Born in Trenton, he was a lifelong area resident, residing in Groveville for the past 65 years. He was an honorably discharged Army National Guardsman Sgt. who proudly served for 9 ½ years. Bob was an avid sportsman, who enjoyed hunting and fishing. He had a special place in his heart reserved for the caring for and rescuing of cats. Most of all, he loved his family and friends, and cherished the memories they made together.
Predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Elizabeth (Phillips) Yajcaji; his brothers, Mickey Yajcaji and Edward Phillips; and his beloved wife, Rose (Vass) Yajcaji; he is survived by his loving family, Sharon and Brian Nicholson of Martins Creek, PA, Robert F. Yajcaji, Mark A. Yajcaji and his wife, Kathleen, and Thomas J. Yajcaji; his sister,Carol Coniglio; grandchildren, Markie Yajcaji, and Alicia Hird and Jessica Loveland; and 6 great grandchildren.
All services are private and under the direction of the Buklad-Merlino Memorial Homes, Hamilton.
