Richard J. Damiano

December 29, 1955 - December 5, 2022

Richard J. Damiano, 66, of Groveville passed away on Monday, December 5, 2022 at Hamilton Grove Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Hamilton.


Born in Trenton, Rick as he was known by family and friends, was raised in the Chambersburg section. He has resided in the Hamilton area for the past 40 years.


Rick worked in the auto parts industry for over 30 years before his retirement. In his spare time, he was an avid hunter, fisherman, enjoyed camping and archery, and liked cooking but even more enjoyed a good meal. Most of all he loved spending time with his family and friends. Rick was also a member of the NRA, Nottingham Hunting and Fishing Club, and the Falls Township Rifle and Pistol Association.


Son of the late Joseph and Evelyn Jarosewicz Damiano, and father of the late Joshua Damiano, he is survived by his wife Donna Arvay Damiano of 42 years; his two children, son Michael Damiano, and his Daughter Nicole Foster and her husband Joseph; two sisters, Lynne Compagnucci, and Janice Lawrence and her husband Jim; his granddaughter Avery Foster; as well as many cousins and close friends.


A visitation will be held on Friday, December 9, 2022, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Buklad- Merlino Yardville Memorial Home, 30 Yardville-Allentown Road in Yardville. Catholic prayer services will be held at 12 p.m. with local clergy officiating.


Burial will follow in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery.
