Richard George Sirak entered into God’s loving hands on July 21, 2021, at Capital Health Hospital in Trenton, NJ.
He was born on Feb. 17, 1938 in Trenton, NJ and attended Trenton Central High School in Trenton, NJ. During his last year in high school, he enlisted into the U.S. Navy in Feb. 1955 and served until he was honorably discharged in 1963. During his time of service, he met and married his beloved wife, AlesSandra Davidoff in 1961 and had 5 children. After his discharge from the navy, he went to work at CV Hills Refrigeration in Trenton, NJ and then for Kalex Chemical Products formerly, Stauffer Chemical in Yardville, NJ for several years as a Calendar Operator, Color Mix Foreman, Union Steward, finally retiring as a Supervisor of Product Integrity, Kalex Chemical, Brooklyn, NY.
Richard was an avid bowler and hunter and enjoyed working out. He emphasized the importance of health and exercise in his life. He was talented with cars, motorcycles, woodworking and art. He also enjoyed watching his favorite sports teams, the 76ers and the Eagles. He had a love and respect for animals especially his dog “Nikki”. He cared for and loved his grandchildren and great grandchildren and enjoyed trips to Hershey Park and loved to attend their plays, recitals, and social activities. Richard was also a devout catholic and a member of the St. Vincent DePaul Church and Parish in Yardville.
Predeceased by his parents, Carol and Helen Sirak, his loving wife, AlesSandra, his daughter Diane Marie, his brother, Charles, his sister, Kathleen Jackowski. Richard is survived by his children, Carolyn Temple and husband, Dave; Sandra Sirak and husband, Jarek; Richard J. Sirak and wife, Christine; Janice McNally and husband, Dennis; his loving grandchildren, Jenell Fox, David and Kristi Hamm, Charles Temple, Carla Meyer, Stephanie, Angelina, Zachary, Brandon and Patricia Sirak, Brianna and Amanda McNally; and several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial for family and friends will be celebrated on Tuesday, July 27, 2021 at 11:00 am at St. Vincent de Paul Church, 555 Yardville Allentown Rd, Yardville, NJ 08620.
Interment will follow at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery, 350 Province Line Road, Wrightstown, NJ 08562.
There will be no calling hours at the Funeral Home.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Buklad-Merlino Memorial Homes, Hamilton.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Richard’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, and The National Shrine of Our Lady of Czestochowa, 654 Ferry Rd., Doylestown, PA 18901
