Richard D. Firth, 68, of Hamilton, passed away on May 24, 2019, surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Trenton, he was an area resident all his life.
He was a volunteer soccer coach for the A.O.H. in Hamilton. He was the president of the Abbott Commons H.O.A. for 21 years.
He loved to play golf, and was most recently employed by Mercer County Park Services at Princeton Country Club.
He retired from Verizon after 30 plus years of service as a lineman and instructor.
Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Son of the late John C. and Marion (Fabrizio) Firth, he is survived by his loving wife of 33 years Kathleen (Harm) Firth of Hamilton, his children Bonnie Henshaw (Jeff) of Flemington, Jenna Moral (Andy) of Doylestown, and Jonathan Firth of Hamilton, his grandchildren Christian and Ryan Moral, a brother John “Butch” Firth, 2 sisters Sandy Jackman, and Debbie Firth, and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, May 29, 2019 from 2:00pm to 5:00pm at the Buklad Yardville Memorial Chapel 30 Yardville-Allentown Rd., Yardville, NJ 08620. A memorial service will be held at 5:00pm at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the National Kidney Foundation (www.kidney.org).
