April 29, 1954 - January 23, 2024
Ralph M. Ruprecht, 69, of Hamilton, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 23, 2024 while at Serenity Hospice Inpatient Unit at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, Hamilton.
Born in Kingston, MA, he was a lifelong Hamilton/Trenton area resident. He was a husband, father, brother, and grandfather who loved spending time with his family. His two children were the light of his life, and he did not miss an opportunity to spoil them. He was extremely proud of them throughout every stage of their lives and in the life partners they have chosen. His granddaughter, Kaitlyn, was the star of his world, and he loved to watch her dance.
Ralph was known for his strong work ethic and hustle. As a boy, he shined shoes at the train station and collected bottles to recycle. He was blessed with good looks, charm and the gift of gab and last worked in sales. He loved negotiating anything. He was an avid golfer who spent countless Sunday mornings on the links with his son. Ralph was a dedicated football fan who enjoyed wagering on the games. He loved building and construction projects, from making a playset for his granddaughter to renovating the family home. He was extremely handy and could fix anything.
Predeceased by his parents, Henry and Mary (Cohoon) Ruprecht; his mother-in-law, and father-in-law, Marion and James Turner; and sister, Mary (Harold) Weigle. He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Janice (Turner) Ruprecht; daughter, Stephanie Meinhardt and husband Gary; son, Matthew Ruprecht and his partner Megan Kardine; siblings, Henry (Venus) Ruprecht, Theresa Rencewicz, Quinton (Theresa) Gates, and Gloria Gates; his adoring granddaughter, Kaitlyn Meinhardt; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and dear friends.
With his signature strong will, Ralph bravely fought COPD and emphysema for the past eight years. Unfortunately, his body was not as strong as his spirit. He will be missed, and his family will cherish the memories they made with him.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
Services are under the direction of the Buklad-Merlino Memorial Home, Hamilton.

Didn't get to see Uncle Ralph much because of the distance but he really was an amazing guy. Every time I think of him I think of that anniversary party or something for I believe my grandmother his mother and I remember dancing with him he looks so much like my father. So sorry for your loss
Janice, I am so very sorry for your loss. I remember back when we were at HHW outside for gym class & Ralph would show up, getting us in trouble because we talked to him through the fence. You two were an item forever. He will always be in your heart.
