Ralph E. Van Brunt

October 1, 1944 - May 17, 2021


Ralph E. Van Brunt, 77, of Philadelphia, passed away peacefully at home May 17, 2021.


Born in Red Bank, NJ he was a lifelong area resident recently residing in Philadelphia, PA. Ralph was the owner/operator of Van Brunt Janitorial Service for many years. He enjoyed trips to Atlantic City and Parx Casino and was an assistant coach for the special teams of Nomads Nation Flag Football in Mercer County. An avid Philadelphia Eagles fan, he enjoyed smoking a good cigar. Although he loved his family and his dog Deuce, he was always willing to help others who needed him.


Predeceased by his parents, Ralph E. III, and Helen M. (Snyder) Van Brunt; his wife Concetta Lombardo Van Brunt; his wife, Barbara Ann Crusen Van Brunt; infant daughter Jennifer Van Brunt; son Ralph E. Van Brunt; brothers, Ron Snyder and George Van Brunt; and his sisters, Judith Pererson, Gail Snyder, and Nancy Johanson; he is survived by his children Mark Van Brunt and his spouse Maureen Kennedy, Jason Van Brunt and his fiancé Bonnie Smith, and Brian Van Brunt and fiancé Kristi Buchman; daughter-in-law Joann Van Brunt; sister Darlene Lakatos and spouse Alex, and Betty Van Brunt; grandchildren, Ashely Moore, Kristin Van Brunt, Savannah Van Brunt, and Kaiden Van Brunt; great grandchildren, Christopher, Dawson and Evelyn Moore; companion Sheila Renee Newton as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.


Funeral Services will be held on Monday, May 24, 2021, at 12:30 p.m. at the Buklad-Merlino Memorial Home, 2141 South Broad Street in Hamilton.


Visitation for the family and friends will be held from 10:30 a.m until time of service at the Memorial Home.


Interment will follow in Highland Cemetery, Hopewell.
