Patricia A. Garrett, 65, of Whiting NJ, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, September 9, 2022.
Born in Trenton, NJ and raised in Hamilton Twp., she was a graduate of Hamilton High School West. She was an active U.S. Navy Veteran, since 1980, where she travelled and lived in many different parts of the Country before retiring in 1991. Upon her retirement, she moved back to Hamilton, and most recently resided in Whiting. Patricia was an avid shopper who enjoyed buying books and doing arts and crafts. She liked going to flea markets,
and trips to seaside and the beach. But most important to her was spending time with her family.
Predeceased by her grandmother, Margaret Svital; her mother, Margie C. (Svitala) Ogonofski, and her siblings, David F. Ogonofski, III, and Kathy Keevish; she is survived by her father, David F. Ogonofski, Jr.; her daughter, Nicole K. and her husband Takyrus Kelly; grandchildren, Darian, Kevin and Gabrielle; Aunt Cathy V., Uncle and Aunt Robert and Barbara O.; nieces, Missy and Chrissy; nephew, Bobby; as well as other relatives and dear friends.
Visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, September 15, 2022, from 6:00 p.m – 8:00 p.m. at the Buklad-Merlino Memorial Home, 2141 South Broad Street, Hamilton.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 16, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at the Memorial Home with local clergy officiating.
Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Byzantine Catholic Cemetery # 3.
