December 5, 1949 - February 10, 2026

Nicholas “Nick” Cirillo, 76, passed away peacefully at his home built by his late parents in Hamilton, NJ, surrounded by family.

Born in Asbury Park, NJ, Nick has been a proud New Jersey resident for his entire life, living in various towns before finally settling in Hamilton.

As an educator of over 30 years in the Trenton Public School District, Nick Cirillo made a lasting impact in the lives of all of his students. He proudly wore the titles of history teacher, and award winning debate team coach, and Trenton Central sports fan. Nick never failed to show up for the students he supported. He was always a phone call away.

In his spare time, he loved to listen to music, watch boxing matches, and his food and culture. He was proud Italian-American who never failed to remind you of his Salerno roots. He was an avid member of The Church of St. Raphael’s and loved to connect with his community.

Nick was known as the most generous, confident, and kind man. He had a larger than life personality, and the ability to make you feel like the most important person the world. It is a privilege to know him and a blessing to love him.

Nick is survived by his wife, Oyin, and his daughter, Alexa, as well as many lifelong friends.

Visitation for his family and friends will be held on Friday, February 27, 2026 from 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m at the Buklad-Merlino Memorial Home, 2141 South Broad Street, Hamilton, NJ.

A prayer service will begin at 2:45 p.m.

Cremation and burial will take place privately and at the convenience of the family.
