Morton Bruce Nichols

July 25, 1940 - May 30, 2022


Morton Bruce Nichols, 81, of West Windsor, passed away peacefully, Monday, May 30, 2022 at Princeton Medical Center, Plainsboro.


Bruce was born and raised in Forest Hills, New York. He attended college at Michigan State University and then returned to New York and worked for Restaurant Associates at the TWA terminal at JFK, where he met and fell in love with his wife, Gina.

Gina and Bruce moved to many states over the years with his job at Restaurant Associates, including Florida where their children, Melissa and Amanda, were born.


After a whirlwind career at Restaurant Associates, where Bruce ran the culinary experiences at the World Fair in New York and the state fairs in California and New Orleans and the commissary at pipeline in Alaska, they landed in the Philadelphia area where Bruce ran a successful pizza place called Nicolini’s. They eventually settled in West Windsor, NJ where they have lived for the past 34 years.

In 2004 they bought Wildflowers, Too in Yardville, where he enjoyed greeting customers who eventually turned into friends. In his spare time, he enjoyed building model boats, spending time with his family, friends, and canine companions, Kingston and Coco.


Predeceased by his parents, Herbert and Rose (Lukaczer) Nichols; he is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Gina (Romano) Nichols; 2 daughters and son-in-law, Melissa Nichols, and Amanda and James Neiderman; a sister, Carolyn Nichols; 3 grandchildren, Oliviah, Landon and Lacey Neiderman; nephews Mitch (Lisa) Diamond and Jonathan (Christine) Camarda; 4 nieces, Donna (Tommy) Frigenti, Mara (Ricky) Castro, Stephanie (Wes) Underwood, and Alexandra (Marc) DeVincenzo; Kingston and Coco; many other relatives and dear friends.


Visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, June 2, 2022 from 3:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. with service beginning at 6:00 p.m. at the Buklad-Merlino Yardville Memorial Home, 30 Yardville-Allentown Road, Yardville, NJ.


Graveside services will be held on Friday, June 3, 2022 1:00 p.m. at Wellwood Cemetery, 1400 Wellwood Avenue, West Babylon, NY 11704.
