Michael G. Clugsten

November 9, 1971 - December 16, 2023


Michael G. Clugsten, 52 of Yardville, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on Saturday, December 16, 2023.


Born in Trenton, he was a lifelong area resident. He was a self-employed entrepreneur who owned The Camp Store in New Gretna, and Brand New Tattoo in Ewing. He enjoyed camping,  fishing on his boat, and collected all things related to Jack Daniels. He would travel every October to visit their distillery in Lynchburg Tennessee.  Michael was a talented artist who enjoyed cooking and made a delicious pot of chili.  He loved his family more than anything, especially his daughters.

 

Predeceased by his brother, Daniel T. Clugsten;  he is survived by his loving wife, Alicia (Lyden) Clugsten; his daughters, Brianna and Bailey Clugsten; parents, James R. Clugsten, Sr. and Kathleen (Jones) Clugsten; his siblings, James Clugsten, Jr., Laura Alpert, Matthew Clugsten and spouse, Ashley Valentino, and Katie Clugsten; his mother-in-law, Annmarie Hoarn; father-in-law, Geno Gogan and spouse, Helen Cloward; brothers-in-law, Nick Lyden and wife Christina, and Justin Gogan; as well as many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends.

 

Visitation for family and friends will be held on  Thursday, December 21, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m  at the Buklad-Merlino. Yardville. Memorial Home, 30 Yardville-Allentown Road, Yardville.

 

A prayer service will begin at 1:00 p.m. with Father Stanley Krzyston, officiating.

 

Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.

 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made directly to the family for the care of his minor child.
