Mary Ann Cech (Yurcho), 81, entered eternal life on January 16, 2020 with her loving family by her side. Mary Ann was born in Trenton, NJ. She is the daughter of the late Michael Yurcho and Mary (Kociki) Yurcho. Mary Ann was predeceased by her husband, John R. Cech, of 48 years and a brother, Michael Yurcho. She is survived by three children; Cindy Cech, Victor Cech, Joann Cech Sorace and her husband Lawrence. She has 2 grandsons, Christian Cech and Victor Sorace whom she treasured beyond measure.
Mary Ann graduated from Cathedral High School and worked for DuPont for many years. She was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Parish and enjoyed practicing and sharing her faith. Her love of the Blessed Mother inspired her through her lifetime.
Among her interests were spending time with family, attending musicals, dancing, reading and watching classic movies. She was an avid viewer of EWTN and enjoyed praying the rosary and the Divine Mercy Chaplet daily.
Calling hours Tuesday evening, Jan. 21, 2020, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Buklad-Merlino Yardville Memorial Home, 30 Yardville-Allentown Road in Yardville. The rosary will be prayed at 7:45 led by the Word of Life Prayer Group from Mary Mother of the Church. The Funeral will be held at 9 a.m. on Wednesday at the Buklad-Merlino Yardville Memorial Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Holy Cross Church, 215 Adeline Street in Trenton. Burial will follow in St. Peter & Paul Cemetery.
