August 13, 1940 - January 8, 2024
Mary Ann Cannon, 83, of Hamilton Township passed away peacefully into the loving arms of God on Monday, January 8, 2024 after a very sudden decline in her health after suffering from COVID.
She was born in Trenton and moved to Hamilton Twp. to raise her family. She attended Trenton Schools and graduated from Trenton Central High School. Mary Ann was a purchasing agent for the NJ Dept of Labor and retired after 24 years of service.
She was a dedicated daughter, sister, wife, aunt, niece, and friend. Everyone who knew her, loved her. She had a smile that would light up a room, and a laugh that would make anyone laugh along with her. Mary Ann’s happiest moments were spent at Walt Disney World with her family. If she was not at Walt Disney, she would be doing her next favorite thing, shopping. Mary Ann had a passion for clothing and jewelry, something she could never get enough of.
Mary Ann was predeceased by many of her loved ones who are waiting to welcome her into Heaven, especially her three children that she adored. She was the adoring mother of the late Thomas Cannon, John Cannon, and Cyndi Cannon; the loving and cherished daughter of the late Stephen “Pete” and Anna (Kondash) Toboz; and wife of the late Thomas Cannon; and charming sister of the late Stephen Toboz.
Leaving behind to cherish her memory is her only grandchild, Thomas Ryan Cannon; his mother, Corrine Johnson; her sister-in-law, Florence (Gabryszewski) Toboz; as well as many nieces, nephews, loyal friends, and extended family members who will miss her dearly.
