Mary A. Gephart, 79, of Columbia, NJ, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 27, 2026 at Hackettstown Regional Medical Center, Hackettstown, NJ.


Born and raised in Trenton, New Jersey, Mary was a longtime resident of the Trenton and Hamilton area. In 2016, she made her home in Blairstown, New Jersey, where she remained for the rest of her life. Mary was employed by the State of New Jersey, retiring after 14 years of dedicated service. In her free time, she enjoyed playing Bingo, spending cherished moments with her family, especially her beloved granddaughter and great-grandchildren, and had a special love and appreciation for all wildlife. She found great joy in the simple pleasures of life and the time she shared with those she loved most.


Predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Sadie (Fox) Lick; her beloved husband, Robert L Gephart, Sr.;  and her 5 siblings; she is survived by her children, William R. and his wife, Lisa Gephart, Robert L. Gephart, Jr. and Cynthia A. Gephart and  her partner, Joseph Horner; a granddaughter, Erica Gephart; 2 great grandchildren, Finley Gephart and Bodhi Gephart; as well as many nieces, nephews, her cats, other relatives and dear friends.


All services are private and under the direction of the Buklad-Merlino Memorial Homes, Hamilton.


Interment will follow in Our Lady of Lourdes, Hamilton, NJ.

I am so very saddened to hear of Mary’s passing. Mary was one of a kind for sure. Before she retired we had so many laughs on our breaks and lunch. Mary you will be sorely missed. To your family I am keeping you in my thoughts and prayers. Rest In Peace my dear Friend. One day we will all be together again💔
