Marsha A. Fijalkowski, 72, of Hamilton, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 1, 2023 at Capital Health Regional Health Systems at Fuld, Trenton, NJ.
Born in Oregon, she moved to NJ at a young age, and was a resident of Hamilton Square for more than 50 years. Marsha was a graduate of Helene Fuld School of Nursing. She started her career at Helene Fuld Medical Center in Labor and Delivery then went on to work as a Nursing Supervisor at several local Nursing Homes, finally ending her working career with the NJ State Dept. of Medicaid Fraud. In her spare time, she enjoyed reading, jigsaw puzzles, gardening, cooking, camping and fishing. Most of all she loved spending time with her family, especially her granddaughters, Amanda and Ashley, and her grand dogs, Lilly and Maddie.
Predeceased by her parents Nelse and Anna (Evanosich) Geary, Sr.; she is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Richard Fijalkowski; her daughters, Lisa Kerr and her husband Robert, and Cindy Fijalkowski; 5 brothers, Nelse Geary, Jr., Samuel (Robin) Geary, John (Diane) Geary, Daniel (Betty) Geary, and David (Kathleen) Geary; a sister Sharon Green; granddaughters, Amanda and Ashley Kerr; grand dogs, Lilly and Maddie; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and dear friends.
All services are private and at the convenience of the family.
All services are under the direction of the Buklad-Merlino Memorial Homes, Hamilton.
