Mark A. German, 62, of Florence, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 24, 2022 at home surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Trenton, NJ, he was a local area resident, residing in Florence for the past 15 years. Mark enjoyed driving his truck for many different companies over his 40-year career as a truck driver, and also drove for himself as a private contractor. He was a handyman who could fix just about anything. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed racing of all types, especially NASCAR.
Predeceased by his parents, David, Sr. and Joan German; his daughter, Angela Christina Martin; his brother, Matthew German; and his loving wife, Debra R. (Long) German who passed away in July 2021; he is survived by his son, Thomas Martin; brothers and sisters-in-law, Dave Jr. and Donna German, Paul and MaryJane German, John Sr. and Nancy German, and Michael and Leslie German; grandsons, Joseph Lucid, whom he raised, and his wife Chiquita and Brandon Martin; great grandchild, Kenneth Lucid; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and close friends.
Visitation for family and friends will be held Saturday, July 30, 2022 from 4:00 p.m. -6:00p.m. at the Buklad-Merlino Memorial Home, 2141 South Broad Street, Hamilton, with a brief prayer service to be held at 6:00 p.m.
Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
