January 31, 1963 - October 13, 2026

Maria Deamer, 63, of Groveville, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family.

Born in S’Antimo in Naples, Italy, Maria came to the United States at the age of three and was raised in the Chambersburg section of Trenton, where she grew up surrounded by the love and traditions of her close-knit family. Growing up, she worked at several local pizzerias and was a longtime, dedicated employee of Diamond’s Restaurant, where she made many lasting friendships. She retired from Mercer County Special Services School District, where she spent over 30 years.

Maria had a wonderful zest for life and truly enjoyed making the most of every moment. She loved traveling and exploring new places, with some of her favorite destinations including Italy, Aruba, Hawaii, Punta Cana, and Mexico. Known for her fun-loving personality and outgoing spirit, Maria was always ready for a good time and never one to turn down a happy hour! Her warmth, laughter, and genuine love for people made her a joy to be around, and she was loved by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Maria had a fiercely loyal circle of lifelong friends who became family over decades of shared memories. She had a rare gift for making everyone feel like her closest friend, filling the lives of those around her with warmth and embarking on unforgettable adventures that left lasting memories. Her friendships carried her through the most difficult times in her life and for that she will be forever grateful.

Above all else, Maria's greatest happiness came from being surrounded by her family. She was the beloved spouse and true soulmate of Lester where they shared a profound and unshakable devotion and walked hand in hand through every season of life. Maria’s greatest blessing was her three daughters, Elizabeth, Marissa, and Christina, with whom she shared a bond that was filled with endless laughter, love and memories. Her grandsons, Aidan, Owen, Anthony, and Nico were the absolute light of her life bringing her an endless source of sunshine, strength, and more laughter. She treasured every moment spent with them, especially the memories they created together. Her loving heart, beautiful spirit, and the joy she brought to so many lives will forever be remembered and deeply missed.

Predeceased by her parents, Carlo and Olimpia (Vidler) Farina; her brother, Federico Farina; and her sisters, Chiara DiSpirito and Lorenza Nicolo; she is survived by her beloved husband of 40 years, Lester A. Deamer; her three loving daughters, Christina (William) Daily, Marissa Deamer, and Elizabeth (Matthew) Babice; her brother, Alessandro/Alex Farina; her sisters, Enza (Emanuele) Turco and Assunta Cuadra; her brother-in-law, Vincenzo DiSpirito; her four cherished grandsons, Aidan, Owen, Anthony, and Nico; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and dear friends.

Visitation for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, October 20, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Buklad-Merlino Yardville Memorial Home, 30 Yardville-Allentown Road, Yardville, NJ.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, October 21, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Gregory the Great Roman Catholic Church, 4620 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Square, NJ 08690.
