Margaret Lenyo

June 7, 1935 - February 5, 2025

Margaret Lenyo, 89, of Hamilton, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 5, 2025 at Serenity Hospice Inpatient Unit at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, Hamilton, surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Trenton, NJ to William and Mary (Keating) Veldof, she grew up surrounded by family and carried a deep love for her hometown throughout her life.

In her younger years, she worked at NJ Bell, where fate led her to meet the love of her life, John Lenyo. Together, they built a beautiful life, and once married, she embraced her greatest role as a devoted homemaker. Her family was her world, and she took immense joy in caring for them.

She was a passionate Philadelphia Eagles fan, always cheering on her team with unwavering enthusiasm. She also loved trips to Atlantic City, spending time at the beach, and had a special place in her heart for dogs.

Predeceased by her parents, William and Mary; her siblings, Michele, Patsy, Denny, and Michael Veldof; her beloved husband, John Lenyo; and her granddaughter, Nicole Lenyo; she is now reunited with them in eternal peace.

She leaves behind a loving legacy in her children, John (Linda) Lenyo, JoAnn Lenyo, and Michael Lenyo; her cherished grandchildren, John (Maria) Lenyo, James (Ali) Lenyo, Lyla (Landon) Crider, and Mary (Michael) Gargiulo; six great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends who will forever hold her in their hearts.

Her warmth, kindness, and devotion to her family will never be forgotten. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered with love.
