Lydia L. Warner, 80, of Hamilton Township, passed away on Saturday at Riverside Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Trenton. Born in Trenton, she was a lifelong area resident.
Lydia retired from the State of New Jersey, Department of Health after 17 years of service. In her spare time she enjoyed trips to Atlantic City. Most of all she loved spending time with her family and adored her grandchildren.
Daughter of the late Garrett and Mini Whitehead Girton sister of the late Marion B. Raichel, Gloria L. Podjuban, Garret B. Girton, William N. Girton, and Dorris Groom, she is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, George Warner; daughter Denise Warner, son George Warner, Jr., and his wife Diane Harris; grandchildren, Logan Warner and Jessica Warner; sister Joan Caruso, brother Robert Girton; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held on Thursday, October 11, 2018, 11 a.m. at the Buklad Memorial Home, 2141 South Broad Street in Hamilton with local clergy officiating. Entombment will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
Relatives and friends may call on Wednesday evening from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the memorial home.
