Luis A. Rodriguez-Vazquez, 93, of Trenton, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 1, 2025 at Serenity Hospice Inpatient Unit at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Hamilton, surrounded by his loving family.

Born and raised in Naranjito, Puerto Rico, Luis proudly served his country after graduating from high school by joining the United States Army. Following his honorable discharge, he made his home in Brooklyn New York, where he dedicated many years to a fulfilling career with the U.S. Postal Service until his retirement. After retiring in 1993,  Luis returned to Puerto Rico to enjoy time with his extended family and the island he loved so dearly. In 2009, he settled in New Jersey, where he continued to build cherished memories and remained for the rest of his life. Luis was a musician at heart, with a deep love for the guitar. In his younger years, he even composed his own music, pouring his soul into every note. Beyond his passion for music, Luis enjoyed both playing and watching baseball and boxing, and he never passed up the chance for a good game of bowling. Above all, he cherished his family — especially his beloved grandchildren, who brought him endless joy.
