Lucille M. Koponosh, 82, of Hamilton, passed away peacefully, Saturday, July 25, 2026 at Azalea at Hamilton Assisted Living.
Born in Trenton, Lucille was a lifelong area resident. She retired from Slater Electric in Robbinsville, New Jersey, after many years of dedicated service.
In her free time, Lucille enjoyed traveling with her beloved husband, Tom, and treasured every opportunity to spend time with her family, especially her loving grandchildren, who brought her endless joy. She was an avid Bingo player and was well known for her lifelong love of Pepsi—a favorite that became one of her most endearing trademarks and always brought a smile to those who knew her.
A devoted wife, loving mother, and cherished grandmother, Lucille touched the lives of many with her warmth and kindness. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing and loving her.
Predeceased by her parents, Frank and Virgina (Seaman) Coniglio; and her beloved husband of 63 years, Thomas J. Koponosh, Sr., who passed away in February; she is survived by her daughter, Linda Koponosh; son, Thomas J. Koponosh, Jr. and his wife, Dorrean; 5 grandchildren, Gregory Zahirny, Nicole (Joseph) Gonzalez, Jacob Helton, Kate Koponosh, and Nicholas (Amanda) Koponosh; a great grandson, Christian Zahirny; as well as many other family members and dear friends.
Visitation for family and friends will be held Saturday, August 1, 2026 from 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. at the Buklad-Merlino Memorial Home, 2141 South Broad Street, Hamilton, NJ 08610.
Cremation will take place privately.
