Lorraine A. Faraglia, 70, of Hamilton, passed away peacefully while under the care of Hospice on Friday, March 20, 2026 at Complete Care at Bayshore Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Holmdel, NJ.
Lorraine was born in Trenton and raised in the Chambersburg section of the city before becoming a longtime resident of Hamilton. She began her education at St. Joachim Grammar School, continued her studies at Cathedral High School, and ultimately graduated from St. Anthony High School as a member of the Class of 1973. Following her graduation, Lorraine dedicated many years of service to the State of New Jersey, working in the Department of the Treasury, Division of Pensions, until her retirement in 2019. Lorraine was a member of Societa Roma Femminilla. She was also a devoted parishioner of St. Joachim Catholic Church in Chambersburg and had a special devotion to St. Rita.
Lorraine found great joy in spending time at the shore, especially in Cape May and Wildwood Crest, two places she held close to her heart. She loved collecting seashells and expressing her creativity through arts and crafts, particularly in making detailed lighthouse models. Photography was another of her passions, and she took special pleasure in capturing the beauty of nature—whether it was the power of the ocean during a powerful storm or the quiet stillness of the river when it lay frozen over, in the beauty of icicles.
Predeceased by her parents, Lawrence and Anna Iole (Bruschini) Faraglia; and many other dear relatives who passed on before her; she is survived by her loving sister, Kathleen Faraglia.
and her dear cousins: Ronald (Anna Maria) Bruschini, William (Marianne) Bruschini,
