March 15, 1955 - February 4, 2026

Linda Mae Sikorski, age 70, passed away peacefully on February 4, 2026, in Statesville, North Carolina. She was born on March 15, 1955, in Trenton, New Jersey.
Linda graduated from Trenton High School in 1972. She and her husband, Michael Sikorski, later settled in Hamilton, New Jersey, where she built her life and raised her family. She went on to work as a school bus driver and later as a daycare worker. Caring for children was one of Linda’s greatest passions. She worked hard to earn multiple certifications and proudly became a teacher’s aide in daycare, an accomplishment she considered one of her greatest achievements. The laughter, hugs, and bright smiles of the children she cared for brought her endless joy, and she touched many young lives with her kindness and gentle spirit.
Linda enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, playing Bingo, watching her favorite soap operas, and sharing movie nights with her loved ones. She found joy in life’s simple pleasures, especially in watching her grandchildren smile and laugh. Some of her happiest moments were spent at the campground, gathered around the fire making s’mores and sharing stories—memories her family will forever cherish. Known for her lifelong sweet tooth, Linda rarely passed up a treat and loved sharing those small delights with the people she loved most.
Linda was predeceased by her beloved husband, Michael J. Sikorski; her mother, Edna (Heater) Powers; her father, Bertrum Powers; her brothers, William Powers and Bertrum Powers; and her sisters, Jo Ann Blazes and Cathy Swedo.
Linda is survived by her children and their families, her oldest son, Michael Anthony Sikorski, his wife, Coby, and their children, Serena and Alyson; son, Sean Sikorski, his wife, Nicole, and their children, Lilliana and Madeleine; daughter, Alicia Kalowick, her husband, Joshua, and their children, Christian, Aubrey, Isabella, Hayley, Caleb, and Alyssa; and her youngest son, Joseph Sikorski, his wife, Brittney, and their children, Theodore and Emilia; her brother, Larry Powers; her sister, Mary Episcopo; as well as other relatives and dear friends.
Services in New Jersey will be scheduled at a later date.
