Katlyn Chelsey Rice, a cherished lifelong resident of Ewing Township, New Jersey, passed away on Saturday, August 9, 2025, in South Carolina at the age of 28.
Born in Trenton, New Jersey, Katlyn grew up in Ewing and attended Ewing Public Schools. After graduation, her adventurous spirit led her to live in states, including Florida, New York, and South Carolina.
From a young age Katlyn was known for her dedication and determination, bringing a strong work ethic to everything she did. She balanced her professional responsibilities with a love for life, finding joy in both work and leisure.
Katlyn will be deeply missed by her parents, Yvonne and Eddie; siblings Crystal, Tiffany, and Gregory Rice; and her godmother Hilda Brown. She is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins whose lives she touched.
Rest well beautiful. We love you.
Visitation for family and friends will be held Wednesday, August 20, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Princeton, 119 John Street, Princeton, NJ 08542.
A Funeral service will begin at 12:15p.m.
Cremation will take place privately.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Buklad-Merlino Memorial Homes, Hamilton, NJ.
