Julius A. Kruplo, Jr., 79, of Hamilton, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 7, 2025, at the Serenity Inpatient Unit at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, Hamilton, with his loving family by his side.
Born and raised in Trenton, Julius was a lifelong area resident whose life was marked by devotion to family, service to his country, and commitment to his work. A proud graduate of Steinert High School, he went on to earn his Bachelor’s degree from Trenton State College before serving honorably in the United States Army. Following his military service, Julius began a long and rewarding career with the State of New Jersey, Department of Labor, where his dedication and professionalism touched the lives of many. He retired in 2014 after decades of faithful service.
Julius will be remembered for his gentle nature, steadfast loyalty, and the love he shared with those closest to him. He was a man of quiet strength who valued honesty, hard work, and kindness above all else.
Predeceased by his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Raulf; and his parents, Julius A. Kruplo, Sr., and Marguerite (Raulf) Kruplo, he is survived by his beloved wife of 53 years, Joanne (DiNatale) Kruplo; his brother-in-law, Jerry DiNatale and his wife, Myra; and many cherished nieces, nephews, extended relatives, and dear friends who will hold his memory in their hearts.
Visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday, August 18, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Buklad-Merlino Yardville Memorial Home, 30 Yardville-Allentown Road, Yardville. A prayer service will follow at 11:00 a.m.
Interment will take place in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery, Hamilton.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Julius’s memory to the Prostate Cancer Foundation, 1250 Fourth Street, Santa Monica, CA 90401.
