Judith Ann Krueger

May 23, 1944-July 6, 2021




Judith Ann Krueger died Tuesday, July 6, 2021, peacefully at home. She was 77 years old.


Predeceased by her parents, Henry A. and Marguerite (Elhoff) Cooper, and her younger brother Robert Cooper (Bobby).


Judie is survived by her husband of 60 years, Roland J. Krueger, Jr.; her three children, daughter and son-in-law, Jacqueline Krueger and Nicholas J. Christophis of Frisco, TX, daughter and son-in-law Sharon Lynn and Thomas R. Carazzai of Lawrenceville, NJ, and son Roland Joseph Krueger III of Hamilton, NJ; four grandchildren, granddaughter and grandson-in-law Lauren and Donald Bourlier of St. Augustine, FL, grandson John Anthony Lengyel (Jake) of Tokyo, Japan, Sara Krueger of Yardville, NJ and Kelly Ann Krueger of Knoxville, TN; and three great-grandchildren: Donnie, Dylan and Andrew.


She is also survived by three of her siblings; Marguerite Cohen (Peggy), Henry A. Cooper Jr. (Tommy), and Jo Ann Cooper, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who felt like family.


Judie was a long-time resident of Yardville. She was a member of the St. Raphael Parish and was a former volunteer teacher for the CCD religious education program.


After raising her three children, Judie went back to school and earned an Associate degree in Business from Mercer County Community College. She worked as an Executive Secretary for the New Jersey State Commission of Investigation, where she retired after more than 25 years.


Judie was proud to have served as Democratic Committeewoman for District #31 from 1992 – 1996.


She was a member of Friends of the Hamilton Township Library and a former member of the Hamilton Township Elks Ladies’ Auxiliary.


Some of her favorite things were going down to the shore for crabbing or trying her luck at the slot machines. But the thing she loved most of all, was having the whole entire gang over for her delicious food and then sit out on the side porch together.

A Memorial gathering will be held for family and friends on Saturday, July 17, 2021, from 2:00-5:00 p.m. at the Buklad-Merlino Yardville Memorial Home, 30 Yardville-Allentown Road., Yardville. A prayer service will be held at 5:00 p.m.


In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Judie’s name to St. Raphael – Holy Angels Parish, ATTN: Religious Education – Faith Formation Programs, 3500 South Broad Street, Hamilton, NJ 08610.
