Joyce A. Walker

October 11, 1933 - July 26, 2026

Joyce A. Walker, 92, of Yardville, passed away peacefully Sunday, July 26, 2026 at Serenity Hospice Inpatient Unit at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, Hamilton.

Born in Trenton, she was a longtime area resident. She dedicated many years of service to the State of New Jersey, Division of Taxation, where she worked as a supervisor before retiring.

In her leisure time, she enjoyed taking trips to Atlantic City and treasured the time she spent with her family and friends. Above all else, she found her greatest joy in being with her beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who brought immeasurable happiness to her life.

Predeceased by her parents, Alfred F. and Melvina (Rue) Bowes; her husband, Donald A. Walker, Sr.; and her son; Donald A. Walker, Jr.; she is survived by her son, Michael D. Walker; daughters, Debra J. Walker; and Donna L. Walker and her husband, Don Czmyr; 8 grandchildren, Michael Jr., Diana, Steve, Amanda, Rebecca, Kyle, Alicia and Ryan; 5 great grandchildren, Kyden, Nash, Kalaya, Kiyara and Nyla; as well as many other relatives and dear friends.

Services are private and under the direction of the Buklad-Merlino Memorial Homes, Hamilton.
