Joshua James Gibbs

August 29, 1997 - March 16, 2022

Joshua J. Gibbs, 24, of Bordentown, passed away Wednesday, March 16, 2022.


Born in Trenton, he later relocated to Burlington. He worked as a Union Carpenter with Local 254, in Edison NJ. Josh was always full of joy, smiles and happiness, and would selflessly help a friend. His greatest joy in life was being a father to his two beautiful boys.


He loved tinkering with all things motor powered from cars to dirt bikes and dabbled in fine wood working. He was a self taught musician with poetic lyrics, and was always seen as the light of a party. Josh Lived vicariously through family and friends and was never afraid of any challenge, project, or adventure. He was a loving son, father, brother, and friend and will be forever remembered for his curly blonde hair and a contagious smile


Predeceased by his grandfathers, William A. Gibbs and Richard J. Levenduski,

Miranda Miller (Joshua Jr.’s mom), and uncles, John Gibbs, Brian Gibbs, and Richard E. Rovers.


He is survived by his parents, Daniel Gibbs and Jo Ann Gibbs; sons, Joshua James Gibbs, Jr. and Carson Jacob Gibbs; grandmothers Armida Levenduski, and Viola Price; brothers, Daniel T. Gibbs, Richard Gibbs, and Mark Gibbs and Cheyenne Stahley; sister, Jamie Gibbs; aunts and uncles, William and Lydia Gibbs, Vincent and Robin Gibbs, Raymond Gibbs, Brenda and Robert Jensen, Denise and Edward Sentek, Renee and Keith Thornton, Debra and Anthony Debonis, Renee and Keith Murowski, Bernadette Schneider and Mark Wiesneck; Carson’s mom, Megan K. Brennan; nieces Haylee, Alexa, and Aubrey Gibbs; nephew Zachary Gibbs; as well as many other family members and dear friends, including Kimm Kurlander-Guckin.


Visitation for family and friends will be held on Saturday, March 26, 2022 from

4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.at the Buklad-Merlino Memorial Home, 2141 South Broad Street, Hamilton.


A prayer service will be held at 7:00 p.m.


Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
