Joseph M. Vaccaro

May 8, 1976 - April 29, 2025

Joseph M. Vaccaro, 48, of West Chester Borough, PA, passed away on Tuesday, April 29, 2025.

Born in Trenton and raised in Hamilton, NJ, Joe spent many happy years residing in West Chester Borough. He was a proud graduate of Hamilton High School West, Class of 1994, and went on to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Design from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia.

Joe dedicated much of his professional life to the field of industrial design. In 2016, he and his beloved wife, Sheila, took a leap of faith and founded their own company, Design Branch, where they combined creativity and innovation to bring consumer products to life for retail markets. Their shared vision and partnership left a meaningful mark in their industry.

Outside of work, Joe was known for his adventurous spirit and vibrant personality. A proud Philadelphia Eagles fan, he brought the same passion to cheering on his team as he did to every other aspect of life. He cherished traveling, visiting amusement parks, and spending peaceful days at the family’s cherished lake house in Lake Naomi, PA. He loved decorating for every season and holiday, any excuse to add joy and color to his surroundings. Joe also had a knack for tackling quirky, “unnecessary” projects, always bringing a touch of humor and heart to his endeavors. Above all, he valued time with family, making every gathering feel special and filled with laughter. He was truly the favorite Uncle according to all of the children.

Joe was a devoted husband, a proud and loving father, a cherished son, brother, and a loyal friend to many. His warm presence, creativity, and kind heart will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing and loving him.

Predeceased by his father, Russell Joseph Vaccaro, Jr.; and his beloved bearded collie, Cora;  He is survived by his devoted wife of 22 years, Sheila E. (Curtin) Vaccaro; his two beloved sons, Julian and Elias Vaccaro; his loving mother, Bernadette (Eagle) Vaccaro; and his siblings, Antonette (Steve) Saranin, Russell (Colleen) Vaccaro III, and Mark (Amy) Vaccaro; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Joseph and Susan Curtin; sister-in-law Maeve (Jon) Emerson; and his beloved pug, Kong. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and many dear friends.

A visitation for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, May 6, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Buklad-Merlino Yardville Memorial Home, 30 Yardville-Allentown Road, Yardville, NJ 08620.
