October 6, 1961 — April 23, 2026

Jody A. Maglione, 64, of Hamilton, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 23, 2026 at home surrounded by the love of her family.

Born in Trenton, she was a lifelong resident of the Trenton/Hamilton area. Jody graduated from Sister Georgine’s Learning Center and later participated in a program through Easter Seals that led her to a position with Goodwill in Willingboro, NJ, where she truly flourished. She took great pride in her work and the independence it brought her. Jody was also a proud participant in the Special Olympics, earning a Silver Medal in bowling—an accomplishment that brought her so much joy.

Jody found her greatest happiness in spending time with her sister Michelle. The two were inseparable, often heading out to local restaurants to listen to bands and Atlantic City clubs with Michelle’s friends, where Jody’s vibrant spirit could not be missed. She was always the first one on the dance floor and the very last to leave, embracing every moment with pure joy. Proudly calling herself “The Dancing Queen,” she more than lived up to the name, lighting up every room she entered.

She also enjoyed trips to Atlantic City, Ocean City, and anywhere along the Jersey Shore, where she could relax, have fun, and make lasting memories. Jody’s joyful energy, loving nature, and zest for life will be remembered by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Predeceased by her grandparents, Michael and Josephine Maglione; grandmother, Carmela Luci and her loving parents, Nicholas and Frances (Luci) Maglione; she is survived by her devoted sister, with whom she lived, Michelle Maglione; her dog, Dakota, aka “Squeaky”; special friends, who were by her side through both good and difficult times, Wayne Simmons, and Tracy Huff; and her loving caregiver Linneth Lawrence; as well as many other relatives and dear friends.

A gathering for family and friends will be held on Saturday, May 16, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m. at the Buklad-Merlino Yardville Memorial Home, 30 Yardville-Allentown Road, Yardville, NJ.

A prayer service will be held at 1:00 p.m.

Burial of cremated remains will take place privately and at the convenience of the family, Jody will be laid to rest with her parents.

Special thanks to Serenity Hospice for their care, compassion and support.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Jody’s name to I BELIEVE IN PINK, 214 Mowat Circle, Hamilton, NJ 08690 or online at http://www.ibelieveinpink.org
