JoAnn Lenyo, 65 of Hamilton, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 13, 2025 at home surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Trenton, JoAnn was a graduate of Hamilton High School West and earned her bachelor's degree from Drexel University. After college, she embarked on an exciting career as a commercial designer, which took her across the country. JoAnn’s work brought her to many vibrant cities, including New York City, Chicago, San Francisco, and Cary, North Carolina. However, Austin, Texas, held a special place in her heart. Eventually, she returned home to Hamilton Township, where she settled into her final position at County Business Systems in Newtown, PA.
A creative and passionate woman, JoAnn had a deep love for good food, traveling, and most of all, her cats. Her adventurous spirit and kind heart will be dearly missed by those who knew her.
Predeceased by her parents, John and Margaret E. (Veldof) Lenyo; and her niece, Nicole Lenyo; she is survived by her loving siblings, John (Linda) Lenyo, and Michael Lenyo; her cherished nieces and nephews, John (Maria) Lenyo, James (Ali) Lenyo, Lyla (Landon) Crider, and Mary (Michael) Gargiulo; and many grand nieces, grand nephews, extended family members, and dear friends who will forever hold her in their hearts.
Visitation for family and friends will be held Wednesday, February 19, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. at the Buklad-Merlino Yardville Memorial Home, 30 Yardville-Allentown Road, Yardville.
Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Hamilton.
