Jennie M. Treichler

October 23, 1936 - May 24 , 2025

Jennie M. Treichler, 88, of Yardville, passed away peacefully Saturday, May 24, 2025 at home surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Bethlehem, PA, Jennie spent most of her life in the Yardville area, where she poured her heart into caring for her family, a role she embraced with quiet strength and deep devotion. Jennie had a lifelong love of reading, eagerly exploring books on a wide range of subjects. Whether it was history, mystery, or something entirely new, she found joy in learning and discovery.

She was also a gifted knitter, creating beautiful, intricate pieces that became treasured keepsakes for family and friends. Each stitch was made with care, turning yarn into lasting symbols of her love. A loyal Philadelphia Phillies fan, Jennie followed the team faithfully and made a tradition of watching as many games as she could. Cheering them on brought her joy, and baseball became one of the many ways she connected with those she loved.

Predeceased by her parents, Stefan and Pauline Musike; her beloved husband of 51 years, Richard J. Treichler, Sr., and her siblings and their spouses, Michael Musike, Josephine Musike, Anna (Willie) Chickersky, John (Louise) Musike, Stella (Richard) Suter, Olga (Ernie) Brown, Willie Musike, and William (Jane) Musike.

Jennie will be dearly missed by her three sons and two daughters-in-law, Richard Jr. and Lori Treichler, Michael and Jennifer Treichler; and Stephen Treichler; her grandchildren, Dana and Bobby Wharton,  Brooke, Andrew and Justin Treichler;  as well as many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, other relatives and loving friends.

Visitation for family and friends will be held Friday, May 30, 2025 from 9:30 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. at the Buklad-Merlino Yardville Memorial Home, 30 Yardville-Allentown Road,  Yardville.

A brief prayer service will begin at 11:00 a.m.

Burial will follow in Emmaus Moravian Church Cemetery in Emmaus, PA.
